Homestead Community Land Trust

Homestead is a nonprofit organization with a mission to create and steward permanently affordable homeownership options for households otherwise priced out of the housing market. The organization is able to do this through donations of land and funding from public and private sources, and providing these resources to income eligible homebuyers to bring down the cost of buying a home. In return, Homestead buyers agree to sell their home at a reasonable price to a future household in need of an affordable home.

Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI)

The Low Income Housing Institute's mission is to develop, own and operate housing for the benefit of low-income families and individuals in Washington State; encourage the active participation of residents in the management of their housing; and advocate for just housing policies at the local and national levels. Currently, LIHI owns or manages 48 properties located in King, Snohomish, Thurston, Pierce, and Kitsap counties. LIHI has over 1,600 housing units, providing homes for low-income families, individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, and women and children at risk.
